The Angel's Prayer
Angel of God, my guardian dear
To whom God's love entrusts me here
Ever this day, be at my side
To light and guard
To rule and guide
AMEN.
I have learned of this prayer when I was still in my elementary years. Thanks to the Dominican Sisters who have helped me during my formative years in my Catholic Faith. Years have already passed, but still I pray this prayer wherever I go. Sooner or later, i'll be sharing this prayer to my daughters - Patsy and Paola.
Angels are said to be the most "unemployed" heavenly creatures because only a few human beings call for their intercession and guidance. Don't you know that in every creature living in this world, a guardian angel is assigned to him/her? However, the angel's assignment will commence only when an individual prayed for one.
